Home Infusion Pharmacy: Home infusion therapies are prepared under the supervision of our specialized pharmacists, and are then delivered and administered to patients by infusion nurses or trained caregivers. Home infusion is primarily used to treat infectious diseases, heart failure, cancer, intractable pain and nutritional disorders.

Specialty Pharmacy: OptionCare manages a wide range of complex injectable and infusible therapies that require special handling, clinical oversight or outcomes monitoring. These therapies can be used in a patient’s home, physician’s office or ambulatory treatment center. Specialty Pharmacy products primarily treat conditions such as growth disorders, multiple sclerosis, hepatitis C, immune deficiency disorders, hemophilia, asthma, anemia, rheumatoid arthritis and other chronic conditions.

Ambulatory Treatment: OptionCare’s Ambulatory Treatment Centers provide a convenient, cost-effective alternative to outpatient hospital care for the long-term or chronic patient who needs injectables or infusibles requiring special clinical oversight. Ambulatory treatment can be used for patients with immune deficiency disorders, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, infections, pulmonary hypertension, and for the prevention of respiratory syncytial virus infection.

Respiratory Therapy / Home Medical Equipment: Selected OptionCare locations also offer Respiratory Therapy and Home Medical Equipment. In both of these areas, we provide state-of-the-art equipment that is supported by best clinical practices.
